 Assistance is available to companies starting, expanding or relocating to Jefferson County. Through a wide array of
business tax incentives and economic development programs, we foster a vibrant economic environment for the business
community. Qualification for different incentives are generally based on project merit, number and type of new jobs created or retained in Colorado, and new capital investment added to the community. Various business assistance programs cover project grants, low-interest loans, customized job-training grants, state income tax credits, personal property tax rebates, sales-and-use tax exemptions, and permit fee waivers. Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation (Jeffco EDC) is a public/private not-for-profit economic development organization serving Jefferson County.
