Real Estate Forum |

The JEC Real Estate Forum was held on April 23rd at Rolling Hills Country Club. The keynote speaker was Senior Futurist Tom Frey from the Davinci Institute. Tom gave a “glimpse in our real estate future” by giving the audience a futurist's perspective on the changing real estate needs for Jefferson County’s high-tech companies. Real Estate Challenge |

The 7th annual Rocky Mountain Real Estate Challenge was held on May 6th at the Marriott City Center in Denver and the winner was the team from the University of Denver. The University of Colorado and University of Denver students battled it out in this intense competition of research, financial analysis, problem solving, presentation development, judges' questions and oral delivery before hundreds of commercial real estate professionals.
This year JEC partnered with Carma Developers LP to sponsor the competition, due to its Jefferson County location. The Rooney Valley area known as Solterra Centre, is situated in both the City of Lakewood and unincorporated Jefferson County. For more information, please visit www.naiop-colorado.org. |

The Jeffco Manufacturers Council is a quarterly forum for collaboration and knowledge exchange between manufacturers doing business in Jefferson County, Colorado. The Jefferson Economic Council hosted Where’s the Money? Navigating Opportunities from the Stimulus Package and Other Contracts on May 15, 2009 at the Arvada Center.
