City of Edgewater
The City of Edgewater was established on August 17, 1901, and celebrated its Centennial in 2001. Edgewater is one square mile, bounded by the cities of Lakewood and Wheat Ridge. Edgewater's recreation center and city park host various youth-oriented events, concerts, and other community activities. Sloan Lake is the perfect place to picnic or go boating. The Edgewater Marketplace has many types of restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. Recent renovations to the community have made Edgewater a great place to visit and do business.
