Board of Directors

Jefferson Economic Council's (JEC) strong and effective leadership is a key factor in the success of our organization. JEC is governed by a 36-member Board of Directors consisting of 22 voting members and 14 ex-officio members.

Representing a broad spectrum of industries and city/county government, these high- profile business and community leaders help shape and direct economic policy in Jefferson County and the metro area. Additionally, they use their individual experience, backgrounds, and resources to guide the creation, expansion, and retention of primary jobs–fueling the economic health and vitality that benefit residents and companies in Jefferson County.

Members of our Board of Directors also serve on several volunteer committees that, in addition to guiding the operations of JEC, study and act on business issues in Jefferson County.
